🎗 Day 1: October 23rd ~ WEAR RED DAY→ This year’s Red Ribbon Week theme is Life Is A Movie, Film Drug Free. The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery, and strength. Thank you to everyone who wore red to help us celebrate the start of Red Ribbon Week!
★ Quarter 1 ends on Friday, October 25th!
★ This week a group of our FFA students are at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis from October 20-26th.
🏈 Congratulations to our HWC Football team for advancing to the playoffs! The game is set for 2pm on Saturday, October 26th in Harvey vs. EEK! Please note that Activity Passes are not valid at post season events. Adult tickets are $10 if purchased on GoFan at https://bit.ly/hwcfootball or $15 at the gate the day of the game. Student tickets are always $5. Good luck HWC Hornets!🏈📣 🏈
★ The Close Up group has 2 fundraisers this month! That’s My Pan Oct.14 to Nov.15th. And Salty B**** Candles Oct.14-25. Please contact a Close Up member to order.
★ Any item in the locker rooms NEED to be picked up EVERYDAY and put in a locker or on the bench. Anything left on the floor will be thrown away!
★ 21st Century Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45-8:00 AM and Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM
Please remember: if there is an early out or the last day of school for the week lands on a Tuesday-Thursday, there will not be 21st Century program that day!
