SCHOOL NEWS
⚠️ IMPORTANT: If you receive a phone call from someone stating that they are fundraising for upperclassmen in Fessenden-Bowdon regarding mental health needs, DO NOT give them any money. We are not fundraising for this.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Out of an abundance of caution, access to PowerSchool has been temporarily locked down as of 12:00 PM (Thursday 1/9/2025) for any user who is not connected to the state network, StageNet This means that access from outside the school network will be unavailable after this time. North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is working with PowerSchool and districts to evaluate the scope of the incident.
*We also recommend changing your PowerSchool password as a precaution.*
★TODAY! Friday, January 10th the Lego Robotics Team will compete in Bismarck for the Regional Competition! Bus will leave the school at 8:30 am.
★ Our Book Blast Event is going on now! With this program, all students are guaranteed at least one new book, however students who raise $125 get 10 new books! All donations received using this link: https://tinyurl.com/Fessenden-bowdonCommLink go into a community pot to help all students get even more books! Last year we raised over $10,000, giving every student in PreK-6th grade at least 8 new books to take home!
★ FBS Archery updates (PICTURE DAY UPDATE)
Practices are held Tuesday’s & Thursday’s 6:30pm - 8:00pm in the old gym. (door #10)
Reminder that the Archery Tournament forms with payment are due to the office or Mrs. Teresa Risovi by Friday, January 10th.
You can also track your archers scores by downloading the NASP Portal app.
Picture day has been changed to Tuesday, January 14th during practice.

Kensal Bullseye & 3D Tournament is Friday, January 17th & Saturday, January 18th!
★ The FFA Blood Drive will be held on Friday, January 17th in the Old Gym! If you would like to donate blood and need a specific time, please go to your vitalant.org account or make a new account and sign up. If you do not want to go that route, just send a message to Mr. Moe and he will take care of scheduling your donation for you. The times run from 8:30 AM to 1:45 PM. What have you got to lose - a pint of blood? but that pint may save someone's life!!!!!
★ Close-up has started a Coffee & Tea Fundraiser that will go until January 17th.
★ 21st Century Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45-8:00 AM and Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM
Please remember: if there is an early out or the last day of school for the week lands on a Tuesday-Thursday, there will not be 21st Century program that day.
