SCHOOL NEWS
★ 5th/6th Grade Volleyball registration papers were sent home. They are due back to the school office by February 28th. Practice starts March 4th with a parent/player meeting to follow.
★ In honor of National FFA Week (Feb. 15-22) The Fessenden-Bowdon FFA Chapter is having a Food Drive. A paper sent home with the details to help us “Join in the FUN as we DRIVE FOR A TON”.
★ National FFA Week Dress Up Days:
Thursday- Trades Thursday (works in the trades-Nurses, Electricians, Mechanic, Lineman, etc.)
Friday - Blue & Gold Day! (FFA Members wear you OD)
★ Reminder: Early Out next Wednesday, Feb. 26th at 1:30pm for Teacher In-Service!
★ The Post Prom sign up sheet is posted in the office. Deadline to sign up is March 10th!
★ Post Prom permission forms are in the office. ALL students attending MUST fill one out!
★ Any high school student can attend the post prom evening celebration that will be held from 12:20 am to 3:00 am on April 13th after the Fessenden Bowdon High School prom on April 12. The Fessenden Bowdon Post Prom Committee is having a follow up meeting on March 1st at 9:00 am. Please attend if you feel you can help in any way with this event or future ideas for post prom events!
★ Boys & Girls Basketball Skills Camp! Grades 1-2 will go from 9:00-10:00 am, and Grades 3-6 will go from 10:00-11:30 am. The Skills Camp dates are: February 22nd - March 1st! For more information please contact Amanda Allmaras at 701-391-6166.
★ 21st Century Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45-8:00 AM and Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM
Please remember: if there is an early out or the last day of school for the week lands on a Tuesday-Thursday, there will not be 21st Century program that day.

Next School Year (2025-2026) Survey:
Fessenden-Bowdon Public School is committed to providing high-quality instruction for all students. To support our teachers in learning new teaching practices and improving their skills, we currently utilize early release days once a month for professional development. We understand that any change to the school day can impact families, and we strive to find the option that best balances the needs of our students, teachers, and families.
For next school year, we are considering a change to late start days instead of early release. This would mean that school would begin 1 1/2 hours later than usual (10:30 am instead of 8:30 am) one day each month. This dedicated time for teacher professional development is crucial for improving the quality of education your children receive.
