SCHOOL NEWS
★ 5th/6th Grade Volleyball registration papers are due back to the school office TODAY!
★ Track practice will begin next Monday (3/3).
★ Gateway to Science will be at Fessenden - Bowdon School on March 4th from 12:45 - 3pm. We are looking for volunteers to staff the different stations. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Mackenzie Dietz at 547-3296 ext. 206 or email mackenzie.dietz@fessenden.k12.nd.us
★ The FFA Blood Drive will be held on Friday, March 7th (postponed from Jan. 17th). If you are interested in donating please go online and schedule yourself, or if you do not know how to go about signing up, please give Mr. Moe a call at 547-3296 extension 108 and we will get you on board to make a lifesaving donation. We have been bumped up to 64 slots so we are in dire need for our community members to step up and help save lives.
★ Parent/Teacher Conferences are set for March 18th & 19th.
★ The ASVAB test will be given Tuesday, April 8th, at 8:30 a.m., for any junior or senior who would like to re-take the test. Contact Mrs. Heinz to register for the ASVAB re-take test.
★ The Post Prom sign up sheet is posted in the office. Deadline to sign up is March 10th!
★ Post Prom permission forms are in the office. ALL students attending MUST fill one out!
★ Any high school student can attend the post prom evening celebration that will be held from 12:20 am to 3:00 am on April 13th after the Fessenden Bowdon High School prom on April 12. The Fessenden Bowdon Post Prom Committee is having a follow up meeting on March 1st at 9:00 am. Please attend if you feel you can help in any way with this event or future ideas for post prom events!
★ Boys & Girls Basketball Skills Camp! Grades 1-2 will go from 9:00-10:00 am, and Grades 3-6 will go from 10:00-11:30 am. The Skills Camp dates are: March 1st! For more information please contact Amanda Allmaras at 701-391-6166.
★ 21st Century Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45-8:00 AM and Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM
Please remember: if there is an early out or the last day of school for the week lands on a Tuesday-Thursday, there will not be 21st Century program that day.

Next School Year (2025-2026) Survey:
Fessenden-Bowdon Public School is committed to providing high-quality instruction for all students. To support our teachers in learning new teaching practices and improving their skills, we currently utilize early release days once a month for professional development. We understand that any change to the school day can impact families, and we strive to find the option that best balances the needs of our students, teachers, and families.
For next school year, we are considering a change to late start days instead of early release. This would mean that school would begin 1 1/2 hours later than usual (10:30 am instead of 8:30 am) one day each month. This dedicated time for teacher professional development is crucial for improving the quality of education your children receive.
