Just a reminder: School Board Election Notice
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 8th day of June, 2021, the annual Fessenden-Bowdon School District 25 school election will be held for the purpose of electing one Board member for a three-year term (currently held by Troy Jones) from Geographical Area #3 (at large from Entire District). The polls will be open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (CDT) of that day at the Fessenden-Bowdon Public School.
Candidates who wish to have their names placed on the ballot must file such intent with the Business Manager by 4:00 PM (CDT) on April 5, 2021.

The Fessenden-Bowdon School Board has a vacancy due to the resignation of one of the board members. The applicant selected by the board will fill the vacant seat until the next regularly scheduled election on June 8, 2021 and will hold the position until June 30, 2021. At the regular election, this seat on the board will be up for reelection for a one year term. Applications from qualified voters will be accepted until 4:00PM on March 29, 2021. Employees of the school district are not eligible to serve on the Board of Education. Interested parties should submit their statement of interest and statement of candidacy to Michelle Johnson, Business Manager, Fessenden-Bowdon School, PO Box 67, Fessenden, ND 58438 or by email to michelle.johnson@fessenden.k12.nd.us. It is the intent of the board to review the candidates on and make an appointment on March 29, 2021.
