The boy's basketball regional tournament will begin on Monday. HWC will play St. John on Monday, March 14 in Devils Lake.

Favorite Class: Anatomy, because I enjoy learning about the human body.
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Moe, He has always kept me on my feet in class and never fails to make me laugh. I will forever cherish the life skills he and the FFA organization have taught me.
Favorite School Memory: Making homemade waffles in the online room during 3rd period by ourselves as juniors.
Future Plans: Attending University of Mary for Nursing

Our first graders had fun learning about Mardi Gras today. It was a great excuse to celebrate and have some fun with learning.
Congratulations to our HWC Boys Basketball team on their wins this weekend and making it to the finals in the district tournament! They will face off against Four Winds-Minnewaukan tonight at 7:00PM in Devils Lake for the championship. Go Hornets!

In case you missed it, we have a champion in Fessenden! Haleigh Lematta won the title of state champion in the 140lb women's division at the state wrestling tournament this weekend.
Graduation will be here before we know it! We would like to take the opportunity to recognize the members of our senior class. This week we are highlighting Kalyn Keller. She is the daughter of Chad and Kodi Keller.

Favorite School Memory: Making Christmas skits every year the day before Christmas break.
Future Plans: Attend University of Mary to obtain a degree as a radiology technician.

The HWC Wrestling team will be doing a walk through at the Fessenden-Bowdon School TODAY at 2:10PM. Community members are welcome to attend. We will line our halls to wish them luck as they travel to Fargo to compete in the state wrestling tournament.
The HWC Girls Basketball team will be playing on Monday, February 21 in Devils Lake at the regional tournament. They will face off against Langdon.
