
The HWC boys basketball team will be playing tonight against Carrington in Fessenden. There will be JH, C, B, and A squad games. First game begins at 3:30PM. Junior Hoops will be performing at half time of the varsity game and Grades 1-6 are invited to sing the National Anthem. There will be concessions for sale by the Music Booster, Sophomore Class, and FFA. This is the LAST game of the year in Fessenden and it is Parent's Night for the seniors!


Students of the Month were announced this morning! They are Bella Long, Emilee Cazier, Bridger Kittelson, Penelope Tesch, Dayvah Fortney, Raylynne Brown, and Payzlee Neumiller. Congratulations on all of your hard work!


Random Acts of Kindness - Ms. Pranke and Haleigh Lematta have started a kindness bulletin board. Everyone is encouraged to post random acts of kindness and then post them to inspire others. Congrats to the First Tech team! Lots of hard work and a few catastrophes but they ranked 6th team place, 4th in Alliances and got the Innovation Award at First Tech State on Saturday. They competed against other teams at the Career and Tech Center at Bismarck State College.





HWC BB (A/B/C) will play FW-Minnewaukan on Monday, February 7 with the C game starting at 4:30PM.

Did someone say cotton candy? On Thursday, we celebrated the 100th Day of School. To end the day, students received a bag of cotton candy from the Opdahl family. It was a great treat to end the 100th Day of School!


The HWC Girls Basketball team won last night against Warwick! Final score was 63-18. The girls will play in Harvey on Saturday against Kidder County at 3:00PM.


Menu Change: On Friday, January 28, we will be having Chicken Taco Soup, Green Beans, Berry Mix, Water, and Milk.


Masks will be required at the HWC GBB game in Warwick today.


HWC GB Time Update: Today's girls game in Warwick will start with JV at 5:30PM.

Come out today, January 25 for wrestling in Harvey starting at 5:00PM. HWC will wrestle Pembina County North in Region 2, friendly brotherly rivalry with Linton HMB, and Velva. Lots of great matches to be watched.

First Tech is going to state!!
The team made it all the way to the finals in regional meet which put them in second place with their alliance team.
Along with the innovative award they won for the second time.
The innovate award is awarded to the team that has the most innovative and creative Robot design solutions to any specific components in the game.
Elements of this award include elegant design, robustness, and 'out of the box' thinking related to design.





Congratulations to our own Haleigh Lematta on another win this weekend in girls wrestling! She won all 3 of her matches.
